Choose a design and match the numbered stickers to the numbered spaces, then watch your artwork come alive. Recommended for children ages 6-12 and their caregivers. Join us at the O'Connell Branch and learn how to make a flower arrangement! Participants will leave with their very own bouquet. No registration required. Appropriate for all ages, although young children should be accompanied by an adult. Materials will be provided while supplies last.

Learn how to visually capture your own memoir or fictional creation in a short graphic novel through story planning, character development, and techniques for capturing emotions, motion, and time. Materials provided and no prior art or author experience needed! Registration is required, and registering for this session includes the following two Tuesdays 1/20, and 1/27. This weeks class (12/2) has been cancelled. Join us each Tuesday afternoon at the Central Square Branch for Chair Yoga, led by experienced instructor Louise Parker. No equipment needed. It’s an act of rebellion to use your body in a public space, articulating power and transcending awkwardness or beauty. Two community workshops, led by Professor of Dance Christine Bennett, will involve movement as a path toward understanding and resiliency in our own bodies and community spaces. The workshops are appropriate for all movers ages 18 and up. Register for one or both workshops.
