Let’s talk about your favorite comics! Bring in a graphic novel and share your thoughts on why it’s great – or even why it’s terrible. Each month will feature a different reading challenge – you get to pick any comic that you think matches the theme! Celebrate comics with snacks, books, and maybe even the chance to make one yourself! This month’s theme, bring in your favorite comic and tell us why you love it. Snacks are provided. The scammers have reportedly been placing flyers on vehicles throughout the region, including earlier this week in Cambridge, indicating that eight-week toy poodle puppies – fully vaccinated and registered with all documents – were listed for sale for $1,000. It has been determined that dogs are not being sold through the listed phone number and that this is an attempt to extort people.

The City of Cambridge plans to install quick-build separated bike lanes on Main Street between Massachusetts Avenue and Portland Street in 2023 and will launch the project with a virtual community meeting and in-person open house in March.

Creating an outdoor volleyball court would be an exciting addition to the city, especially since there is not currently an outdoor court in all of Cambridge! The court would have sand and a sturdy net for three-season usage.

The Main Library "Healthy Mouth, Healthy Life" workshop has been cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience. The Harvard School of Dental Medicine’s Students for Smiles Club and the Cambridge Public Library are hosting a free community event on oral health. Attendees will learn how to brush and floss the right way through a short talk and hands-on practice. The program will also share simple tips for preventing common dental problems and explain when to see a dentist. Free toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and local dental care resources will be available for everyone.

In this presentation, you will learn about your rights as a tenant and Cambridge resources that support renters. We will be joined by attorneys from Cambridge and Somerville Legal Services and the City of Cambridge’s Office of the Housing Liaison.
