City Departments & Offices
Walk-in access by the public is available Monday through Friday during regular City business hours (Monday, 8:30am-8pm, Tuesday-Thursday, 8:30am-5pm, and Friday, 8:30am-12pm), and in-person public appointments continue to be offered by many departments.

The King 2-5 Afterschool is a safe and welcoming environment in which children are encouraged to learn through exploration.
Child Safety Seat Installation and Inspection
The Cambridge Police Department offers a free Child Safety Seat Installation and Inspection service to help residents properly install car seats, booster seats, and seatbelts. Trained officers inspect seats, provide guidance, and may supply free car seats to families in need, all to ensure children are traveling safely and legally under Massachusetts law.
Noise Ordinance Enforcement
Violations or complaints regarding any noise issue should be reported to the police's non-emergency line or License Commission.
Caregiver Council for DHSP
DHSP is working with caregivers to form a new community partnership that welcomes families into desicion-making that impacts them.
