The phased rollout of the Cambridge Police Department’s Body-Worn Camera (BWC) Program will serve as a critical step in strengthening transparency, accountability, and trust between officers and the community. Cambridge installed the second phase of a project that added quick-build separated bike lanes and raised pedestrian islands on Brattle Street.

The City of Cambridge announced that, beginning Saturday, December 4, it is expanding its free COVID-19 testing program to five days per week. Through a new partnership with CIC Health, the City will launch a pilot appointment-only testing site by offering 300 appointments on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at CIC Health’s 295 Third Street location in Cambridge. In the coming weeks, the number of appointments at this pilot testing site will be expanded.
