The Cambridge Small Business Operations Grant is a grant program providing commercial rent, mortgage, payroll relief as well as operating or equipment expenses to Cambridge small businesses as they continue to grow and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Notice of a Pubic Hearing
Public Hearing to consider the removal of public trees. Any objections to their removal must be submitted in writing to the City Arborist prior to or during the hearing
Remote Board of Zoning Appeal Meetings
Due to statewide emergency orders limiting the size of public gatherings in response to COVID-19, and in accordance with Governor Charles D. Baker's Executive Order of March 12, 2020, temporarily amending certain requirements of the Open Meeting Law, as well as the City of Cambridge Temporary Emergency Restrictions on City Public Meetings, City Events and City Permitted Events Due to COVID-19 dated May 27, 2020, meetings of the Planning Board will be held with remote participation until further notice. Meetings will be closed to in-person attendance.
Solar Assistance Program Information Session
This new City program provides no-cost support to Cambridge businesses, non-profits, and owners of commercial and large residential buildings that are interested in installing solar on their roof.
November 8, 2022 State Election Voting Options
On June 22, 2022, “The VOTES Act” was signed into law. The VOTES Act makes several temporary election administration changes, which were instituted in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, permanent. Early voting is available to all voters for the State Election, November 8, 2022. Early voting is available by mail and in person to all registered voters and no excuse is required.
Shared Lane Markings
The purpose of the markings is to create improved conditions for bicycling, by clarifying where cyclists are expected to ride and to notify motorists to expect cyclists on the road.
