In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy this month, the Cambridge STEAM Initiative is also celebrating the life and legacy of Bob Moses, local civil rights activist and founder of The Algebra Project. CHRC Gender Identity the Law Training
Effective Oct. 1, 2016, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts prohibits discrimination based on gender identity in places of Public Accommodation. A place of public accommodation as defined in M.G.L.c. 272 92A includes any place open to and serving the public. This training details how businesses can comply with the state’s gender identity non-discrimination law in places of public accommodation. In addition, the training covers best practices for maintaining inclusive environments regardless of one’s gender identity.
