The City Manager’s Outstanding City Employee Award is an opportunity to recognize our colleagues for their exceptional contributions to public service. Thanks to generosity of The Stone Family Charitable Foundation, The Kennek Foundation recently donated 50 Trouble Dog Stuffed Animals to Cambridge Public Safety.

The Board’s purpose is to review the effectiveness of the City Living Wage Ordinance at creating and retaining Living Wage jobs; to make recommendations to the City Manager regarding the granting of Waivers to Covered Employees; to review the implementation and enforcement of the Ordinance; and to make recommendations in connection to the Ordinance.

The Foundry Advisory Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the City of Cambridge and the Cambridge Redevelopment Authority, to help ensure that the Foundry building’s redevelopment and ongoing operation remains consistent with the Vision and Objectives established in the Demonstration Plan that grew out of an extensive community planning process. Help the City of Cambridge ensure that the Foundry located at 101 Rogers Street, remains a community space for arts, technology, and workforce development.

The Early Childhood Education Career Training Program is recruiting participants for its 2026-2027 cycle. This free program provides training and job experience for people who want to start a career as an infant, toddler or preschool teacher. The program runs from October 2026 to June 2027.

The Cambridge Commission for Persons with Disabilities (CCPD) works to reduce and eliminate the barriers that people with disabilities experience in our community.
