This session will share important updates for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) recipients, including: How to renew your TPS Work permit and travel information Legal supports and available resources You’ll also have the chance to ask questions and connect with local organizations that can help with ongoing support. This a hybrid event. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 1 hour before the event. We will be providing interpretation in Spanish and Haitian Creole on location during the event. 911 is for emergencies only. 911 Dispatchers answer both 911 calls as well as general or business calls made to the Cambridge Police and Cambridge Fire business numbers (617-349-3300 for Police and 617-349-4900 for Fire) as well as other public safety non-911 numbers. Reserving 911 for emergencies enables 911 dispatchers to easily recognize and give highest priority to emergency callers while still being able to receive and promptly answer calls for service or non-emergency calls.

The annual awards program recognizes City employees for their extraordinary contributions to public service to peers, colleagues, and residents, above and beyond job requirements. All nominations are due Friday, April 28, 2023, by 12 p.m. Award recipients will be recognized at the Outstanding City Employee Award ceremony that has been rescheduled to Friday, June 9, at 9:30 a.m., in the Sullivan Chamber at Cambridge City Hall.

The City of Cambridge is celebrating National Small Business Month in May 2023! Throughout the month join us for webinars and other events to provide resources to local small businesses and entrepreneurs, and to celebrate the importance of small businesses to Cambridge's vibrant community.

In addition to initiatives to make buildings and vehicles more sustainable, the City addresses other issues including: Urban forestry, Recycling, composting, and waste reduction, Environmentally preferable purchasing, Stormwater management and Safe drinking water supply.
