The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of multiple temporary street closures throughout the weekend due to scheduled community events on June 6, 2026.

Best of all, in the Duck Circle, youth are able to touch and interact with a live duck. Due to the particularly fine weather, this program will meet in the Valente Reading Garden, at the corner of Cambridge Street and Berkshire Street. This program is for children of all ages, with a caregiver. Registration is required. When registering, please indicate how many children are attending. The Cambridge Health Alliance and Cambridge Police Department today announced their participation in a new and innovative national research center designed to help individuals at risk for suicide.

This new department will help support Cambridge’s most vulnerable residents by providing an alternative, non-public safety response to non-violent, and behavioral crisis calls.
