A changing climate means that winters in Massachusetts are getting weird. Hear from some of Cambridge's sustainability experts on the ways climate change is affecting our winter weather -- and how to best prepare your home or apartment for colder weather while saving money. Questions from attendees are highly encouraged! This event will be hosted at the Main Library and livestreamed for remote attendees. The climate is changing, and we're all here on the planet together. Join us for a monthly community gathering and discussion of a variety of books about climate change. We will share thoughts, resources, and occasionally host special guests in a welcoming small-group environment. For our December meeting, we will discuss This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. the Climate by Naomi Klein. Copies of the book are available at the Main Library Q&A Desk. The Electrify Cambridge Summer Series are online information sessions about home electrification technology, electrifying 1-4 unit residential buildings, and electrifying large multifamily buildings.
