With more than 80 participants submitting 115 photos and pieces of artwork, City staff selected an image of the Charles River at sunset for the 2026 Resident Parking Permit sticker.
Boudreau Branch Mystery Book Group (Boudreau/Virtual)
March Selection: The Stranger Diaries by Elly Griffiths.
This book group will meet virtually and in person at the Boudreau Branch. We will discuss current and classic mystery titles. Please register below if you would like to attend via Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants one hour before the event.
How to get the book: Copies of the print book will be set aside at the Boudreau Branch (245 Concord Ave; current hours). Copies of the ebook are available through the Libby app. Copies of the audiobook are available through Hoopla.

Community Celebration and Fair Housing Resource Fair
If you’d like to learn more about your housing rights and connect with local resources, please join us on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the King Open School in Cambridge for a community event featuring City departments and local organizations offering information on housing, tenant protections, and available services. This event is free and open to all, with food, family-friendly activities, and entertainment provided.

Lets Help Cambridge Residents Buy Bicycles
This proposal will expand bike ownership for qualifying low-income residents. This two-year program will make bicycles available for purchase at discounted rates and provide reliable cycling transportation for residents in need.

The Library is pleased to be working with dedicated community members to offer a special story time in Arabic! This program which will be conducted primarily in Arabic with the intention of helping young Arabic language learners to improve their skills. This program is suitable for children up to age 7.
Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket.
