Calling all bakers for a cake potluck! Make a cake and come bring it to share with others. Everyone will go home with slices of different cakes to sample. Various baking and cake cookbooks are available for pickup at the Branch.

Celebrate pride month by planting seeds with a bloom kit we provide! Choose from a mix of zinnia, tomato, basil, coleus, and poppy seeds. No registration required, available until supplies run out. In 2009, the City set a goal to reduce residential trash disposal by 30% by 2020, and by 80% by 2050. With that goal in mind, the City expanded curbside food waste pickup to all buildings with 1 to 12 units. 25,000 households (8,100 buildings) are now eligible to participate.
