Many of the parks in Mid-Cambridge will soon need repair or replacement. We would like to work together with neighbors to create a plan for these parks and open spaces. By working together, we can make sure future park updates and plans meet the needs of our community & neighborhood.

Attention all Cambridge small business owners! The City of Cambridge and The Capital Network invite you to attend an in-person event designed to provide entrepreneurship education, resources, and in-person networking opportunities to connect with industry experts, investors, mentors, and fellow business owners. This is a free event and part of the City’s National Small Business Month activities.

Join us for an hour of drumming with Ammaya Dance and Drum to celebrate Juneteenth! This event is recommended for children ages 5 and up and their caregivers. In the event of inclement weather, the drum circle will move to the Curious George Room. Due to rain, this program will be in the Curious George Room.

April Selection: One Pot, Pan, Planet: A Greener Way to Cook for You and Your Family by Anna Jones. Join friends and neighbors for a potluck! Try a recipe and bring your results or thoughts to share and discuss with other cooks. All experience levels welcome. No need to bring a dish to join. Books will be available for pick up at the Boudreau and Collins Branches during library hours. This event will take place indoors at the Boudreau Branch (245 Concord Ave). Some appliances, large or bulky items require a permit for disposal. Residents must purchase permits from Public Works in advance to schedule pickup of the items.

The Community Development Department (CDD) partners with local businesses and organizations to sponsor free events in squares and neighborhoods across the city. Apply to receive reimbursement of up to $2,000 for eligible activities.
