The Department of Public Works (DPW) is installing 200 new fully enclosed BigBelly bins starting in September 2025 to combat rodent activity and prevent litter. These new bins, which include both trash and recycling stations, will replace almost all of the open-top trash cans currently in the city.

A powerful and delicious fire cider that can help our immune system kick out colds, flus and more. In this class, we will discuss the ingredients in fire cider, different recipes for different conditions, and when and how to use them (salad dressings! mocktails!). Mo Katz-Christy (they/them) is a queer Ashkenazi Jewish herbalist born and raised in Cambridge, MA on unceded Massachusett land. They approach herbalism by connecting folks to the knowledge they already have about their body and herbs through working with kitchen medicine, ancestral traditions, and mulberries falling on the sidewalk! Mo graduated from a three-year clinical herbalism program at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism in 2022. They work one-on-one with clients to address the root imbalances that are causing dysregulation and to promote long-term healing, focusing on gut health. Apply to the Cambridge Nightlife Industry and Thriving Entertainment Spaces (NITES) Grant! The Cambridge NITES grant is aimed at supporting the nightlife and entertainment industry in Cambridge by providing up to $5,000 awards for outdoor, nighttime events during the month of June.

Due to the popularity of Sifu Diaz's classes, we expect participants to attend all sessions and participation in this program will be decided by lottery. Join us in this twelve-week Tai Chi Paradigm practice, which focuses on the mind and body connection. Tai Chi is a fluid sequence of movements choreographed in a low impact routine.
