Cambridge celebrates long-standing local businesses in May for National Small Business Month

The annual awards program recognizes City employees for their extraordinary contributions to public service to peers, colleagues, and residents, above and beyond job requirements. All nominations are due Friday, April 28, 2023, by 12 p.m. Award recipients will be recognized at the Outstanding City Employee Award ceremony that has been rescheduled to Friday, June 9, at 9:30 a.m., in the Sullivan Chamber at Cambridge City Hall.

A business use sidewalk obstruction permit is required if you are a business in the City of Cambridge and want to use an “A” framed sign, sandwich board, display merchandise, temporary banner or use tables and chairs on a sidewalk in the public way.

Attend this job fair on Wednesday, October 29 at the Central Square Library, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. to connect with representatives from state and local government agencies, explore job openings, and expand your network!

Fall season is in the air, here at the Library! This art class will be a hybrid of indoor and outdoor time. Allowing you to get up close with the trees and leaves to take artistic observations of your surroundings. All supplies will be provided but please bring any protective gear (long sleeves and sweaters) in the event of slightly cold weather. Registration is required.
