Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Cambridge Police Commissioner Pauline Wells have confirmed the ongoing investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred this morning, Saturday, July 4th, in Cambridge. The preliminary investigation suggests that the victim, identified as Xavier Bautista, 32 from Cambridge , was shot shortly before 4:30 a.m. his body was located by a pedestrian at around 5:30 a.m. who called 911. Classes focus on plays, cultural exploration, and conversation

The Cambridge Office of Early Childhood Education is spearheading the effort to develop universal preschool through the Cambridge Preschool Program, which will provide free school day, school year preschool to all 4-year-olds in Cambridge and some 3-year-olds with specific needs.

The City of Cambridge announced that free COVID-19 testing will be offered in North Cambridge next week on June 9, 11, and 13. Cambridge residents age 8 and older are welcome, regardless of insurance or immigration status.
