It’s no secret that Cambridge offers one of the best views of the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular and each year on July 4th thousands of people come to our community to enjoy the show. The Transit Service Analysis Study used a data driven approach to assess bus routes in Cambridge to prioritize locations for bus priority street treatments.

Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training that teaches people how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of a mental health or substance use challenge in adults ages 18 and over. The program is designed to build mental health literacy, providing an action plan that teaches people to safely and responsibly identify and address a potential mental health or substance use challenge. This workshop will cover: Common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges Common signs and symptoms of substance use challenges How to interact with a person in crisis How to connect a person with help Expanded content on trauma, substance use and self-care Registration is required.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, it is an opportunity to raise awareness of sexual violence and support those who have been victimized. For the Cambridge Police Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Unit it is also an opportunity to share the resources we have available to members of our community.
