Local arts and cultural organizations, community groups, and other Cambridge-based nonprofit organizations are invited to table at the 2024 Cambridge Arts River Festival on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nonprofits can participate for free.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a uniquely stressful time for almost everyone. Depression and anxiety are a normal response to stress. The MassSupport Network was established to provide free support services to people of all ages living in Massachusetts. The program is a partnership of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health and Riverside Community Care.

After the Israel-Hamas War broke out in October of 2023, Cambridge had an increase in the number of protests. We wanted to share how we plan and what resources we provide to ensure the safety of the protestors and public in the area.

Library trustees are volunteer community representatives, library advocates, and leaders in the establishment of goals and policies for the Cambridge Public Library system. During the 11th Participatory Budgeting cycle, Cambridge residents voted to fund Welcome Baby Boxes for new parents. This initiative, offered by the Center for Families, provides Baby Boxes to eligible Cambridge parents who have a child under one year old. Since outreach began in the Fall of 2025, more than 60 Cambridge households have signed up to receive a Baby Box.

The Election Commission office will be closed to the public from Friday, June 6 through Tuesday, June 10 but we can be reached at elections@cambridgema.gov during that time.

Through the Hampshire Street Safety Improvement Project, the City will add separated bike lanes to Hampshire Street between Inman Square and Broadway, creating a more comfortable biking connection between Inman Square and the Port/Kendall Square. We will also make improvements to existing crosswalks and changes to parking and loading.

Join the City of Cambridge Department of Veterans Services (DVS) for a ceremony honoring military members lost in maritime battles and disasters. The observance will include a flower release, a moment of silence, and a recording of the United States Naval Academy Choir.
