71 Cherry Street
The Cambridge Redevelopment Authority (CRA), in partnership with the Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House (MFNH), plans to develop a portion of the MFNH lot, located at 71 Cherry Street, into new affordable homeownership units. This development will happen in conjunction with the revitalization of the MFNH. The CRA plans on creating these new housing units under the provisions of the Affordable Housing Overlay (AHO).
2017 Site Monitoring Report
Highlights include: Commencement of construction for the Drainage and Community Gardens project at Fresh Pond Reservation; proposed and ongoing development and redevelopment projects along Second Avenue, Bear Hill Road, and Winter Street in Waltham; and permitting and on-ongoing construction of a new Minuteman Vocational Technical High School in Lexington and Lincoln.

27th Annual Youth Poetry Awards Ceremony
Celebrate our winning poets with a reading and awards ceremony in the lecture hall at the Main Library. This program is for the youth poets and their supporters. No registration required.
Summer Reading: Bluey Party (O'Connell)
Play games including Musical Statues, Pass the Parcel and Keepy Uppy just like your favorite Australian cartoon dog! No registration is required. Recommended for children ages 2-5 with a caregiver.
CPL Nature Club: Fresh Pond Nature Walk (O'Neill)
Join us for a relaxing walk of Fresh Pond with Park Ranger Tim Puopolo! No two weeks are the same in nature, and Tim will share his insights about what's growing, changing, and blooming in the neighborhood. This walk is not on a paved path. We will walk on uneven terrain, down hills, and over roots. The meeting location for this walk will be in front of the Fresh Pond Ranger Station at 250 Fresh Pond Parkway (under the clock tower). Registration is required. This event can only accommodate a certain number of participants. One registration is good for one person. If you do not register, you cannot participate. Those on the waitlist will be contacted if a space becomes available.
