The Baker-Polito Administration announced the Commonwealth’s Employer Vaccination Program, which will allow Massachusetts employers options to easily and conveniently vaccinate their employees.

The Cambridge Police Department offers general fingerprint services for City of Cambridge residents only.

Located at 806 Massachusetts Ave., the Cambridge Senior Center offers programming, events, lunches, and recreational options to Cambridge residents age 60 and older.

The new Timothy J. Toomey, Jr. Park located at 71 Rogers Street in East Cambridge is now open to the public.

Cambridge residents can apply for the City of Cambridge Scholarship Program by completing this application.

Continued implementation of the Urban Forest Master Plan (UFMP) guides development of Cambridge’s tree assets and enables the City to expand the urban forest canopy and be more resilient to climate change. In FY22, Public Works reached the UFMP ecommendation of planting 1,000 trees annually. To increase long-term survival of newly planted trees, Public Works has improved pre-planting soil preparation and post-planting aftercare. Recently Cambridge and Somerville Fire Companies collaborated to review Elevator Technical Rescue Skills in a Blind Shaft Rescue Training Exercise

A 30-year-old Cambridge man was safely taken into custody and then transported to a local hospital last night following a reported armed assault. After the armed assault, he barricaded himself in his home until Cambridge Police officers were able to successfully enter and place the man into custody.
