Remodel the Kitchen at the Frisoli Youth Center
The kitchen area in the Frisoli Youth Center is in dire need of renovating. Replace the stove, dishwasher, cabinets, and countertops in the Frisoli Youth Center kitchen. This project can serve many Cambridge youth!
“Still Marching 1970-2017” Exhibit Opening Reception
“Still Marching 1970-2017,” an exhibition of original photographs by Liane Brandon, opens with a reception sponsored by the Cambridge Public Library, the Cambridge Women's Commission, and the Cambridge Historical Commission. Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is not required. Liane Brandon received funding for "Still Marching" through a Local Cultural Council Grant from the Cambridge Arts Council.
Live at the Library: Lunar New Year Family Concert (Main)
Join master musician Shaw Pong Liu in an interactive, educational and bilingual (English and Mandarin) music program welcoming the Year of the Horse. Shaw Pong will play her Western violin and her Chinese erhu, play music about horses, and invite a group sing-along. This program is recommended for children ages 5 and up and their caregivers.
Family STEAM Night: Bumblebees Make My Tomatoes! (O'Neill)
Families with elementary school age children join us for hands-on activities focused on Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering, and Math. Adults and children will learn and play together! This month we will learn about pollinators with Cambridge Wildlife Arts. We will plant seeds and make bumblebee puppets! This program is a part of the CPL Nature Club.
