Monthly meeting for the Recycling Advisory Committee

This funding will be used to make improvements to the City’s dog parks, including adding a doggy cleaning station and adding molded dog bowls to water fountains.

Cambridge families and young people are invited to join the Cambridge STEAM Initiative, Cambridge Public Schools (CPS), and The Young People’s Project (YPP) at the Math Playground event — an exciting day of family fun that builds math literacy for all ages! The day will include a range of activities that showcase the joy, fun, and wonder in math experiences for young people and families.

Overall Cambridge Arts and the City are distributing more than $300,000 to 60 artists, cultural organizations and grant reviewers via grants and stipends this year through three funding opportunities offered by Cambridge Arts: Organizational Investment Grants, Art for Social Justice Grants, and Local Cultural Council Project Grants.

Join the Cambridge Public Health Department, the Community Safety Department, and the Cambridge Public Library for a panel discussion that aims to raise awareness and community knowledge about how to access national, state, and local resources. Attendees will hear from representatives with the Samaritans, the Community Safety Department (CARE team), and the Community Behavioral Health Center. We’re excited to announce that the Fall 2025 Benefits Open Enrollment portal is live! Starting Monday, November 3, and closes Friday, November 21, City/Schools staff and their families will have the opportunity to enroll in Flexible Spending benefits.

The Cambridge Conservation Commission is teaming up with the New England Flower Society to offer an Urban Gardening Series of four, free classes from January through April. These sessions are designed to help city dwellers grow healthy, sustainable, and beautiful urban gardens.
