Join City staff to review initial draft plans at the second on-site Community Meeting for the Avon Hill Street/Hillside Ave Reconstruction Project.

July Selection: Ripe figs : recipes and stories from Turkey, Greece, and Cyprus by Yasmin Khan ; photography by Matt Russell. Join friends and neighbors for a potluck! Try a recipe and bring your results or thoughts to share and discuss with other cooks. All experience levels welcome. No need to bring a dish to join. Books will be available for pick up at the Boudreau and Collins Branches during library hours. This event will take place outdoors at the Collins Branch (64 Aberdeen Ave). The City and Trust will be hosting a community meeting on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 6 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information and updates on the site and the anticipated redevelopment process, in advance of the CAHT’s issuance of a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to select an affordable housing developer for the site. The meeting will be held virtually by Zoom and there will be an opportunity for community feedback. To participate in this meeting through the Zoom video meeting platform, please register using this link in advance of the meeting.
