CPD participated in the City of Cambridge’s candlelight vigil on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. outside City Hall. The annual vigil honors the Massachusetts women, men, and children who have tragically lost their lives to domestic violence since last October. Local domestic violence prevention agencies will have resources for survivors and information for the community on how to recognize and talk about domestic violence.

Learn how to mitigate potential risk factors of Artificial Intelligence (AI) use and how these risks may impact or exacerbate underlying mental health diagnoses. This class will be delivered by a DOORS program instructor. Navigating intersections can be confusing. Adding bike signals to busy intersections will help cyclists safely navigate intersections and make the roads more predictable and friendly for all.

For more information about reporting a sexual assault to the Cambridge Police call the Sexual Assault Helpline at 617-349-3381 for assistance. This helpline is monitored during business hours. Any messages left over night or on a weekend will be responded to by a detective/victim advocate on the next business day. Please note: This is not a confidential hotline or tip line.

Through the study, the City will work with the community and a stakeholder group to identify how to provide safe and comfortable north/south travel connections for people of all ages and abilities, regardless of their mode of transportation, between Binney Street and Cambridge Street.
