The Public Information Office (PIO) acts as the main liaison between the City and the media. The PIO team is happy to assist journalists covering the City of Cambridge. Please contact us for background information on particular stories, to arrange interviews with City staff, or for information on services and programs provided by the City.

Learn how to use smartphones (iPhone or Android) to communicate with others. You will learn about text messages, emails and how to send attachments. This class will be delivered by a DOORS program instructor. On June 22, 2022, “The VOTES Act” was signed into law. The VOTES Act makes several temporary election administration changes, which were instituted in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, permanent. Early voting is available to all voters for the State Election, November 8, 2022. Early voting is available by mail and in person to all registered voters and no excuse is required.

Expand the Cambridge Sports for Girls Night to include multiple events each year for youth in elementary and upper school. These fun events let young girls try different sports in a supportive community setting!

Bicycle facilities, markings, signs, and signals that can be used to make streets, paths, and intersections safer and more convenient for cyclists.

The City of Cambridge Human Rights Commission partnered with the Cambridge Continuum of Care to develop Equal Access training for local shelters.
