While not a support group nor a venue for bereavement, a Death Cafe seeks to provide an unscripted, non-judgmental platform for those wishing to explore the many facets of this often taboo subject. Facilitated by Richard Davis, a long time Death Cafe organizer and hospice volunteer. Come with an open mind, a healthy curiosity, and a willingness to share your thoughts, feelings, and questions with other like-minded individuals. This is a virtual event on Zoom. Space is limited. Bring a stuffed animal to the Library for a fun story time! Tuck your animal in, wish them sweet dreams, and read them a good night story. Come back on Tuesday 8/4 (or later) to pick up your friend and find out what adventures they had! Please make sure to bring an animal you are comfortable leaving overnight. This program is recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. No registration is required.

Come to the Library for games and a different activity each week! Kids of all ages can hang out and do crafts or STEAM activities. No registration required. Join us for a fun afternoon creating your own superhero costume that you can take home and learn about everyday actions you can take to help our planet. Open to superheroes of all ages! This week's program will co-presented by the organization Mothers Out Front.

November Selection: Appetizers! We have selected three books for this month's potluck. Choose one book to cook from (or more than one if you're feeling adventurous). The books: Brilliant Bites: 75 Amazing Small Bites for Any Occasion by Maegan Brown Martha Stewart's Appetizers: 200 recipes for dips, spreads, snacks, small plates, and other delicious hors d'oeuvres, plus 30 cocktails by Martha Stewart I'll Bring the Apps: Bites, Bowls, Boards & Beverages by Marissa Mullen Join friends and neighbors for a potluck! Try a recipe and bring your results or thoughts to share and discuss with other cooks. All experience levels welcome. No need to bring a dish to join. Books will be available for pick up at the Boudreau and Collins Branches during library hours.
