The City of Cambridge today announced the April schedule for its 7 days per week testing program, including walk-in and appointment-based testing options. Appointment-only testing, provided through a partnership with CIC Health, will continue be available 7 days per week at CIC Health’s 295 Third Street location to people who live or work in Cambridge.

The planning team will introduce the concept of zoning and how changes to the current Mass Ave zoning could impact the corridor. The team will also discuss an approach to our upcoming engagement with the community on the future of Porter Square.

Expect traffic impacts due to event-related road closures between Wednesday, April 17, and Sunday, April 21.

The Comedy Studio, a beloved cornerstone of the local comedy scene, is thrilled to announce its return to Harvard Square. The event, held at Clement Morgan Park, is aimed at highlighting the neighborhood’s rich art and the infrastructure project whose construction is imminent.

The Baker-Polito Administration announced the transition of the Fenway Park mass vaccination site to the Hynes Convention Center. CIC Health will launch the Hynes Convention Center site on Thursday, March 18.

Cambridge Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui and City Manager Louis A. DePasquale today announced that the second phase of the Temporary Emergency Shelter at the War Memorial Recreation Center is scheduled to open on April 17. The Field House is an exclusive area at the shelter that will provide dining, daytime services and overnight shelter for Cambridge residents experiencing homelessness.
