Citizen Observer is a service used by the Cambridge Police Department to send e-mail and text alerts about crime and other notifications to the various neighborhoods of the City.

With support and funding from the U.S. Dept. of Justice, NACOLE, developed this case study of the Police Review & Advisory Board as one of nine in-depth case studies of civilian oversight agencies throughout the United States.

The report includes data specific to each of Cambridge's 13 neighborhoods.

Pursuant to Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023 adopted by Massachusetts General Court and approved by the Governor, the Cambridge Retirement System is authorized to use remote participation at meetings of the Board.

Raymond Park, located at 106 Raymond Street in Neighborhood Nine, is scheduled for renovations beginning in November 2025. The Commission met on February 3, 2023 to discuss possible substantive changes to the aesthetic requirements of the policy.

Handsewing For Mending will focus on hand sewing techniques that can be used to repair seams, hems, tears, and more. Participants will learn about tools and materials for hand sewing, a variety of stitches, and when to apply them to restore garments back to wearability. Registration is required.
