The City of Cambridge has retained its distinction of being one of approximately 24 cities in the United States to earn AAA ratings from each of the nation's three major credit rating agencies. For 25 consecutive years, the City has received these noteworthy ratings annually from Moody's Investors Service, S&P Global Ratings, and Fitch Ratings.

This engaging and educational program is led by master fitness trainer, author, and motivational speaker Shaun Zetlin. Designed for teens and adults of all fitness levels, this session explores how to build strength, improve balance, and move with greater confidence in everyday life. Through clear instruction and gentle, accessible demonstrations, participants will learn how simple movement patterns can enhance stability, coordination, and independence over time. Shaun also highlights the connection between physical confidence and emotional well-being, offering practical tools to help individuals feel more secure, capable, and empowered in their daily lives. All exercises are adaptable, with options performed seated or standing, making the program inclusive and approachable for a wide range of abilities. Registration is preferred not required.

Get up close and personal with chickens! This program includes a chicken-themed story time and educational games about chicken behavior and anatomy. The highlight of the program is the Chicken Circle, where youth are able to touch and interact with live chickens. Recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. This program will happen outside. In case of rain or bad weather it will be inside the O'Neill Branch. Registration is required. When registering, please list how many children are attending. There are several opportunities for tree canopy development in Alewife Linear Park

During this PB Delegate Orientation, volunteer Cambridge residents will join the City's Budget Team in learning more about the PB Delegate role. The orientation will cover an overview of the PB proposal development process, volunteer responsibilities and time commitment, as well as an opportunity for volunteers to choose their Delegate Committees and meet fellow volunteers.

The climate is changing, and we're all here on the planet together. Join us for a monthly community gathering and discussion of a variety of books about climate change. We will share thoughts, resources, and occasionally host special guests in a welcoming small-group environment. For our May meeting, we will discuss The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben, which was originally our book for February but due to weather, we couldn't meet. Attendees are invited to choose between reading the original text, the illustrated edition, the graphic adaptation, or watching the film version of this book! This work is available in many different formats. Copies of the print book, the illustrated edition, the graphic adaptation, and the DVD are available at the Main Library Q&A Desk.
