The newly structured Family and Social Justice Section brings together certain operational units to provide specific services to members of the community who would be better served through a “social justice approach” than what could be afforded to them through conventional criminal justice approaches.
Celebrate New Stories On Foundry Jukebox: Release Party April 12
Elisa Hamilton's Jukebox restored a vintage jukebox and filled it with recordings of Cambridge people's stories. Join us to celebrate the release of 25 new Jukebox stories at Cambridge's Foundry, 101 Rogers St., on Wednesday, April 12, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Community Benefits Funding
The Community Benefits Advisory Committee acts on the Guiding Principles for Community Benefits Funding, adopted by the Cambridge City Council, and makes recommendations to the City Manager for the approval of grant awards with nonprofit organizations to deliver services.
Police Review and Advisory Board
The primary function of Police Review & Advisory Board (PRAB) is to investigate and make findings regarding complaints brought by individuals against the Cambridge Police Department or police officers, and it also reviews Cambridge Police Department policies, practices and procedures.

Proposed Amendments to the Zoning Ordinance currently or previously under consideration, including proposed text and schedule for action.
Neighborhood Demographics Profile 2013
Includes a series of charts and tables with information about the 13 neighborhoods of Cambridge, as well as citywide statistics. The document was last updated during 2013 to incorporate complete data from the 2010 US Census and the 2006 to 2011 American Community Survey.
Cambridge STEAM Initiative
The Cambridge STEAM Initiative is a joint venture between the City of Cambridge Department of Human Service Programs, the Cambridge Public School District, and the Cambridge Public Library. STEAM is an integrated approach to learning that uses any combination of STEAM areas of study - Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math - as access points for inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. Using a racial justice lens to frame all of its efforts, the STEAM Initiative works to ensure that Cambridge residents who are most impacted by systemic inequities have access to high quality STEAM programming, resources, and skill-building opportunities.
