Green Equipment for Cambridge Businesses ARPA Program
The Green Equipment for Cambridge Businesses ARPA (the “Program”) provides funding to Cambridge, Massachusetts based small businesses and non-profit organizations negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible businesses will receive financial assistance in the form of reimbursement for the purchase of eligible equipment that makes their business operations or building more energy efficient, reduces their use of fossil fuels, or that provide renewable energy to power their business operations.

Cambridge City Manager Yi-An Huang reflects on the accomplishments of 2024, highlighting major initiatives such as the Cambridge Preschool Program and the Community Assistance Response and Engagement (CARE) Team. He emphasizes the City's strong investments in affordable housing, climate action, public safety, and education, while reaffirming a commitment to transparency, accountability, and community engagement. Looking ahead to 2025, he expresses gratitude for the collaborative efforts of City staff, residents, and partners, and excitement for the opportunities to continue building a better Cambridge.
CPR Class for Parents and Caregivers (Valente)
This CPR class will cover life-saving skills for infants, children and adults. We will use multi-media and hands-on practice to be sure students acquire skills and confidence to assist in a life-saving medical situation. This class will also cover training and the use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for all ages, along with life-saving skills in choking situations. Students will receive their certificate upon completion of class. Please note that the City is not responsible for the content or training equipment.
Space is limited (25 adults), registration is required.
Note for CONFIRMED registrants: Your spot is held until the program start time. Once the program begins, we will fill in open spots from a day-of waiting list until the program reaches capacity.

Over the course of the last year plus, I have worked hard to balance the many voices in our diverse community, find consensus within the City Council and follow their direction, and bring forward the professional experience and expertise of City department leaders and staff.
