"No Left Turn" signs are coming to the intersection of Brattle Street and Appleton Street on or about Wednesday, August 14. These new signs will restrict left turns from Brattle Street eastbound onto Appleton Street northbound at all times.

The City of Cambridge has released the 2025 Biking in Cambridge Data Report summarizing how biking has changed across the city over the past two decades.

Emergency Communications initially received reports of gun shots in the area of Central Square around 1:31 a.m. Three shell casings were located by the Cambridge Police near 731 Massachusetts Avenue following a preliminary investigation. There is one known victim at this time.
