How does Cambridge Arts maintain the City of Cambridge’s collection of more than 280 public artworks? “Rust Happen(s): Caring for the Public Art Collection" offers a behind-the-scenes look at the public art conservation program of the city’s arts agency. The exhibition debuts at Cambridge Arts’ Gallery 344 at 344 Broadway, Cambridge, on March 18, 2024, followed by a free, public reception on Monday, March 25, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The City of Cambridge Pandemic Collaborative is offering a vaccine clinic on Sunday, May 23 at CambridgeSide Mall using the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine. This clinic is free and open to all people 18 years of age and older who live and work in Cambridge.

Our bicycle commuter workshops are great for businesses, communities, universities, or bike groups looking to promote healthy transportation options. The workshop is designed for people who know how to ride a bike, but would like to start using their bikes to ride to work, school, or clubs. The $1,125,000 in FY21 capital funds for the eight winning projects from the sixth PB cycle became available on July 1, 2020. The graphic below displays the status of each project. The budget Office will continue to update this information as more work is completed.

Health Insurance Open enrollment for active City employees and non-Medicare eligible retirees will be held this year from February 10-28, 2025. Please review your current health insurance elections and submit any changes you would like to make via the online portal no later than Friday, February 28, 2025.

The following documents are used when drafting a request for proposals for architect and engineering services. These documents are used when selecting an architect to work on a building project estimated to cost over $100,000.00 or when the services are estimated to cost more than $10,000.00. These documents can also be used when choosing a designer or engineer for a non-building project, except where noted.

As part of this year’s National Telecommunicators Week celebration, Emergency Communications is looking to hear from the community and better understand how dispatchers have helped residents. The Department is asking residents to submit a write-up on support they received from a dispatcher or just provide words of encouragement or gratitude for the work that dispatchers do.
