Join us as we take a walk to enjoy the natural wonders of spring and learn about clouds. We will get to know some spring birds, look for early flowers and leaf buds, and see how many different types of clouds we can identify! This event is open to all ages. The walk will be on a wheelchair-accessible paved footpath in Danehy Park. Registration for this event is required; register below. Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection is adding textiles and mattresses to materials banned from trash disposal. Textiles include clothes, linens, towels, shoes, and accessories, like hats, gloves, socks, underwear, belts, and handbags. Residents can schedule a free mattress and textiles pickup online, or drop-off textiles at 12 locations.

Anyone can make a delicious herbal tea blend! In this class, presented by herbalist Mo Katz-Christy, we will discuss a handful of common herbs for tea: their uses, flavors, energies, and what they add to a blend. We will smell each of the herbs and taste some as well, learning how the flavors blend and how they complement each other. Part information and science, part sensory exploration, this class will be as playful as it is educational! Bring your own jar to take your tea blend home. Registration is required and will open May 15.

What's hot & cold & read all over? The O'Neill Branch Library's new HVAC system! Bring a hot or cold dish to share as we celebrate community and our new heating and cooling system. We'll provide a hot fudge sundae bar, plates, napkins, and cutlery. Library staff will also be on hand to ask how we can be the best library for you. Tell us how you use our collections, technology, programs, services, and spaces. Share what library services have the biggest impact on you. Your feedback will help us improve services and set priorities for the coming years.

The City of Cambridge has announced the launch of the 12th cycle of the Participatory Budgeting (PB) process. Residents will decide how to spend $1 million for winning projects that will be included in next year’s Fiscal Year 2027 Budget. Community members can submit ideas until October 12, 2025.
