Cambridge College Success Initiative Celebrates 10 Years
The Cambridge College Success Initiative (CS) was created in 2014 to advance the college completion rate of Cambridge residents who are historically underrepresented in higher education, including immigrants, first-generation students, and students from low-income households.
Apply for a Curb Cut
Anyone wanting to make or change a cut in the curb of the street, such as in constructing, moving or removing a driveway must first obtain a permit from the City of Cambridge.
Consumer Rights
Consumer have rights under the Consumer Protection Law (93A). If a consumer believes a business has violated their rights and engaged in some sort of unfair or deceptive practice and after attempting to resolve the complaint with the merchant informally, he/she may decide to take legal action.
City of Cambridge Declares Heat Emergency Through July 4
Hot weather and extreme heat can cause serious illness and can even be life-threatening. Heat-related illnesses, like heat stroke and dehydration, can occur. Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated and spend time in air-conditioned places.
Apply for a Cambridge Arts Grant
This program provides access to professional arts and culture events for Cambridge youth through Field Trip Grants and also supports individual artists and organizations through Project Grants.
July 4th Events
Youth ages 4-12 are encouraged to participate in the annual race, doll carriage and bike parade.
