This month's book is Lowriders in Space by Cathy Camper. Lupe Impala, El Chavo Flapjack, and Elirio Malaria love working with cars. You name it, they can fix it. The stars align when a contest for the best car around offers a prize of a trunkful of cash—just what the team needs to open their own shop! What will it take to transform a junker into the best car in the universe? Copies of this month's book are available at the Children's Desk. Both caregiver and child should read the book before the discussion to participate. Registration is required — only one registration is needed per family. Arrest Made in October 6th Columbia St. Shots Fired Incident
The Cambridge Police Department (CPD) with assistance from our law enforcement partners have placed Hugo Asamoah, 50, of Worcester under arrest on a warrant for charges connected to an October 6, 2025 shots fired incident on Columbia St. in Cambridge.
State Mass Vaccination Site Accessibility Information
The following information related to the accessibility of the State's Mass Vaccination Sites at Fenway Park, Gillette Stadium, Eastfield Mall in Springfield, and the Doubletree Hotel in Danvers was pulled together by the Cambridge Commission for Persons with Disabilities on February 1, 2021.

City Yard Waste Pickup Resumes April 3rd
The City of Cambridge offers residential curbside collection of Yard Waste from April 1 through December 31. Yard waste is banned from all landfills and incinerators in Massachusetts. This includes all leaves, grass, plants, shrub pruning and twigs. Place them on to the curb on your regular collection day by 7am or after 6pm the night before.
