The Cambridge Life Magazine is a biannual publication of the City of Cambridge Public Information Office that is mailed to residential households in February and September. This magazine generally provides more extensive features of key City initiatives and programs.

It has been determined that dogs are not being sold through the listed phone number and that this is an attempt to extort people.

The City of Cambridge’s Annual Dance Party is finally back. After three years of cancellations due to COVID-19, the 2023 Dance Party had one of the biggest crowds yet, with an expanded event area, colorful lights, and music.

This year, the City of Cambridge awarded 84 scholarships of $3,000 each for a total $252,000 to Cambridge high school seniors and others pursuing higher education. Since the program’s inception in 1993, the City has awarded 1,353 scholarships totaling over $3.4 million.

Join the Collins Branch Library in collaboration with the Cambridge Climate Leaders Initiative for a monthly discussion of a climate-related topic. Each month the group will discuss a book on the topic at hand then hear about a related local program or initiative and how you can take action. Books have been reserved for the group and may be picked up at Collins. The City of Cambridge has provided over 11,000 free COVID-19 tests to people in Cambridge since last spring through its mobile testing program. Residents can get tested regardless of whether they have symptoms or feel ill. No health insurance or ID is required.

Join us for a guided 60-minute art tour featuring public artwork in East Cambridge and learn about how Cambridge Arts commissions and maintains art for public enjoyment. We will visit three public artworks, and two sidewalk poems. Meet at Centanni Park between the Multicultural Arts Center and the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds. This event is part of our Time Out for Public Art series in collaboration with Cambridge Arts. In October, these will be 60-minute art tours where we visit multiple sites as a group.
