The City of Cambridge Community Preservation Act (CPA) Committee will meet virtually on Wednesday, June 9, at 5:30 p.m. to receive project requests for FY22 funding. Each year, the CPA Committee recommends funding for affordable housing, historic preservation, open space, and recreation initiatives throughout the city. Recommendations can be submitted at the June 9 meeting or online from June 9 through July 14, 2021.

This event has been moved to the Learning Lab at the Main Library, located at 449 Broadway, due to the temporary closing of the Valente Branch. Join us for an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) class! This class will be taught at a beginner level. No testing is needed. Everyone is welcome. Join us at the Valente Branch to write your own secret messages with invisibe ink! The library will provide all required materials. This program is recommended for ages children ages 5 and up, and their guardians.

Take a screen break and get organized! Plan your day, track your workouts, remember your friends’ birthdays, all with a pen and paper. Join other teens to learn the basics of the bullet journal and how you can use your doodles to plan your future.

It's a Library dance party! Recommended for children of all ages and their caregivers. This program can accommodate 130 people. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket.
