Join the Collins Branch Library in collaboration with the Cambridge Climate Leaders Initiative for a monthly discussion of a climate-related topic. Each month the group will discuss a book on the topic at hand then hear about a related local program or initiative and how you can take action. Topic: Changing Lanes for Climate - exploring sustainable modes of transportation Book: Carmageddon: How Cars Make Life Worse and What To Do About It by Daniel Knowles Registration is encouraged, but not required. Meet Godmother Glitter as she protects the Enchanted Castle from the dragon. Enjoy a selection of fun stories and meet all kinds of puppets from a unicorn and a rabbit to a prince and a frog. Recommended for children ages 3 and up and their caregivers.

This class teaches Tai Chi arm and leg movements of the yang style long form. There is a strong emphasis on Tai Chi walking, which has been known to improve balance. The class is offered as part of the pilot program at Russell Youth and Community Center.

This four-week puppetry workshop is for youth ages 9-12. We will meet on October 9, 16, 23, 30. No experience necessary! Registration is required.
