Bicycle owners need to clean and care for their bikes, ideally monthly. But for apartment dwellers, this is really hard! These centrally located bicycle wash stations would allow bicycle owners to wash off dirt, grime, and salt from their bikes.

The Baker-Polito Administration announced a $774 million comprehensive plan to stabilize and grow the Massachusetts economy. The plan focuses on getting people back to work, supporting small businesses, fostering innovation, revitalizing downtowns and ensuring housing stability. Partnerships for Recovery begins today by directing $115 million in new funding to small businesses and Main Streets hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and for workforce training efforts. Additionally, the Administration is aligning multiple funding sources, both existing and proposed, to appropriately respond to the crisis.

The annual Scholarship Fund, which is in its 34th year, provides financial assistance to college-bound high school seniors and other Cambridge residents who wish to pursue post-secondary education. The deadline is March 4, 2026.

We're excited to host our first community meeting for the Mass Ave Planning Study (MAPS) on Thursday, February 29 from 6 PM - 7:30 PM. The meeting will provide an introduction to the project; an opportunity for the community to learn more about the process; and a chance to talk with the planning team about Mass Ave! State health officials reported on July 9 that a mosquito sample in Cambridge had tested positive for West Nile virus. The virus is usually transmitted to humans through the bite of an infected mosquito. The risk of West Nile virus infection in Cambridge remains “low,” according to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Low risk means an infection of West Nile virus is unlikely.
