Partnering with the Council on Aging, the Community Development Department conducted a series of community meetings with seniors focusing on “usability, mobility, and accessibility” to transit. The goal of each meeting was to engage seniors in a discussion about their experiences with public transit, including challenges, barriers, and opportunities.

As the City considers projects and programs to be implemented using its allocation, the City wants to ensure that planned uses of the funding incorporate input and feedback from constituents, community-based organizations, and other community stakeholders. As such, you are invited to submit initiative ideas for City consideration using the below form. The form is tailored so that submitted ideas are consistent with the minimum range of funding use options as established by ARPA and U.S. Treasury regulations.

Services include move-in and eviction prevention assistance, down payment and closing cost support for first-time homebuyers, and a comprehensive four-week First-Time Homebuyer Workshop open to anyone interested in learning about the homebuying process. Whether you’re seeking financial support or looking to purchase your first home, the City is here to help.
