Join us for activities celebrating the theme of "Plant a Seed, Read" all summer long. Today's activity is tissue paper flowers. Learn to create flowers made from tissue paper. Build a bouquet to take home for yourself or share with someone special. Recommended for children ages 6-12 and their caregivers. Cool Spots are public spaces where community members are encouraged to gather, connect, and cool off. In the first round of implementation completed in June 2025, four pilot locations for Cool Spots have been launched across the City.

The Fitchburg Crossing Project will create a dedicated crossing over the MBTA Fitchburg Commuter Rail Line, linking neighborhoods divided by the tracks and opening new pathways to Danehy Park, Fresh Pond Mall and beyond.

This event has been moved to the Community Room on L2 at the Main Library, located at 449 Broadway, due to the temporary closing of the Valente Branch. Join us for an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) class! This class will be taught at a beginner level. No testing is needed. Everyone is welcome.
