Baby U is an innovative program designed for parents with children pre-natal to age 3.

CloudHouse is a temporary pavilion that provides shade and seating in an active recreational area to reduce the impacts of extreme heat. The pavilion provides flexible seating and an open form that invites people to socialize, rest, and enjoy a favorite neighborhood park!

We will be hosting our first working group meeting for the Mass Ave Planning Study on Wednesday, February 7 at 6 PM. The meeting will serve as an introduction to the project; an opportunity for working group members to learn more about the process; and a chance for any members of the public to ask initial questions for the planning team. This meeting will be held via Zoom.

Calling all trans and nonbinary herb lovers! Join us over a cup of herbal tea to discuss how we can work with plants to care for ourselves and each other. Trans herbalist Mo Katz-Christy will share some herbs and blends that can support communal care, and we will have time to gather and celebrate Transgender Awareness Week. The Cambridge Police Department is pleased to announce the newest partners in the agency. Officer Omar Corona is responding to calls throughout the city involving suspicious items, possible explosive materials and firearms, and conducting other outreach with his new partner K-9 Sonny.

The main goal of the Willard Street Drainage Improvement Project is to address stormwater flooding of the street and abutting properties. The project also provides an opportunity to upgrade other obsolete utilities and provide surface improvements including accessible sidewalks and traffic calming.

The Department of Human Service Programs (DHSP) offers summer camps and programs to Cambridge children and youth in grades K-8. Summer camps and programs include curricula that emphasizes social opportunities, creative projects, educational field trips, sporting activities, and more!

Young people ages 10 to 14 who love to write are welcome to share their ideas and writing. There will be time for share-outs/workshopping, as well as group or solo writing. Snacks are provided! This week we will be joined by guest author Patrick Joyce, author of Back in the USSR and Strawberry Fields. If you are attending for the first time, registration is helpful, but not required.
