Outdoor Area
This application is for those requesting a temporary extension of your licensed premises to include an outdoor area or expand an existing outdoor area (public, private or both) to serve food or food and alcohol pursuant to the provisions of your current license and the Commonwealth’s Phased Reopening Plan due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Laundry Access in Public Schools ($50,000)
Renovate a space in a Cambridge Public School and install washers and dryers for students who do not have easy access to laundry services at home, to use for their clothing and necessities.
Improve Safety for Pedestrians
Improve safety for people who use the side walk to get to schools, hospitals, and senior living facilities. This project will install raised crosswalks, interactive speed limit signs, and flashing crosswalk signs to assist with safe travel.
Transit Advisory Committee Vacancy
The Transit Advisory Committee provides advice to city staff on city and state projects related to transit. The Committee gives advice and input to the city on how to improve and promote public transportation. This includes the transit services of the MBTA, EZRide, and other shuttles in the city.
