Ora Grodsky is a mission-driven organizational development consultant with over 25 years of experience. Youth Volunteer and Employment Programming
The Cambridge Police Department has a number of unique volunteer and employment programs designed specifically for young residents interested in a career in public safety. Through four primary programs —Youth Public Safety Academy, Explorers Program, Youth Police Academy and the Cadet Program — Cambridge youth ages 8-23 years old have several opportunities to gain exposure within the department by meeting with officers, receiving classroom training, gaining hands-on experience, and obtaining valuable leadership skills.

Harvard Book Store and the Cambridge Public Library welcome Dr. Stephen Greenblatt—Cogan University Professor of the Humanities at Harvard University, general editor of The Norton Anthology of English Literature, and the author of fourteen books including The Swerve, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award—for a discussion of his new book Dark Renaissance: The Dangerous Times and Fatal Genius of Shakespeare's Greatest Rival. He will be joined in conversation by Neel Mukherjee—author of four novels, including The Lives of Others, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize. Registration is required.
Empowerment in Your Later Years: Caregiver Resilience (Virtual)
A webinar designed to invest in your health, wellness, and longevity. Tailored for all caregivers - such as direct care or caring for a loved one - this session will provide advice for building resilience and managing the physical and psychosocial demands of caregiving. We'll discuss your non-negotiables, defining your vision and strategy, identifying resources, and knowing your payer partners. This event will be held online.
