Bring a dish to share, or just come to talk about your experience with a chosen cookbook. No need to bring a dish to join. Visit Valente for a selection of cookbooks that are ready to check out. The Baker-Polito Administration announced a new preregistration signup tool will be available for the state’s 7 mass vaccination sites starting Friday, March 12. The new system will make it easier to request and book an appointment at a mass vaccination site at a nearby location when they are available.

In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays, City of Cambridge offices, libraries, and senior centers will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, December 24-25, and Thursday, January 1. We also want residents to be aware that the Cambridge Police Department expects reports of package thefts to increase this time of year, particularly with more residents doing their shopping online.

The City of Cambridge and Community Development Department today announced the addition of community solar to its long-standing Sunny Cambridge program. Now all Cambridge residents, regardless of whether they rent or own, can leverage online tools and resources from Sunny Cambridge to shop and compare community solar projects or rooftop solar installations.

This project will: Add separated bike lanes on Cambridge Street between Inman Square and Second Street, meeting the requirements of the City of Cambridge’s Cycling Safety Ordinance to build a network of separated bike lanes throughout the City; Make changes to the street to improve safety for all users, including for people walking, biking, taking transit, and driving; Construct new bus stops, with boarding platforms that extend further into the street, reducing bus delay and improving the experience of using and waiting for the bus.
