Books Not Binaries Reading Group (Central Square)
Join us for a book discussion and hangout each month as we read books that celebrate the LGBTQIA+ experience. All readers age 12-15 welcome! Registration is required. For questions, email hsaxton@cambridgema.gov.
This month we're reading Spells to Forget Us by Aislinn Brophy (Putnam, 2024).
Copies of the book are available at the Central Square Library Children's Desk.

Romance Book Group (Main)
This month's book: And Now Back to You by B.K. Borison
Audience: Teens and Adults. If you read romance (or want to start), this group is for you!
Reading Interests: This group will explore the burgeoning genre of contemporary romance. Example selections include: Honey and Spice by Bolu Babalola and Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner.
How to get the print book: Copies of the print book are set aside at the Main Library Q&A Desk on the ground floor. Visit the Main Library at 449 Broadway during service hours and a staff member can help you check out a copy.
How to get the e-book or digital audiobook: This month’s book is available as an e-book and e-audiobook through Libby.
We'll meet in the Teen Room on the first floor of the Main Library.

Kiosk anniversary event
Celebrate one year of the Cambridge KiOSK with an afternoon of live music, participatory activities, and community gathering in Harvard Square.
The event will mark the KiOSK’s first year as a site for visitor information, cultural programming, and community connection. Visitors are welcome to stop by throughout the afternoon.
Program schedule:
12:00–3:00 PM: Participatory activities, including screenprinting and a seedling exchange
3:00–4:00 PM: Cambridge Symphony Orchestra ensemble performance
4:00–5:00 PM: Reception recognizing the artists, organizations, community members, and visitors who have helped shape the KiOSK’s first year
Throughout the event, visitors will also be invited to share ideas for the KiOSK’s next year.
This event is free and open to the public.
