Alphabet Craft Time (O'Connell)
Come hear stories and songs about things that start with the letter D, and make a dinosaur craft. We will be using scissors and glue. Recommended for ages 4-6 with a caregiver.

Short Story Reading Group
Every month we will read and discuss a short story as a group. For July we will be reading "Fern" by Jean Toomer. Copies of the story will be available for pick up at the Central Square Branch.

September 2023 Community Safety Department Update
The Community Safety Department is a fully funded city department that exists outside of the traditional scope of public safety. Our mission is to provide residents with an alternative police response that will prioritize issues of mental and behavioral health in some of our most vulnerable communities.
Crisis Negotiations Unit
The Crisis Negotiations Unit consists of specially trained officers who are prepared to deal with people who have taken someone hostage or have barricaded themselves within a building or similar setting.
