Cambridge City Manager Yi-An Huang reflects on the accomplishments of 2024, highlighting major initiatives such as the Cambridge Preschool Program and the Community Assistance Response and Engagement (CARE) Team. This meeting seeks to provide an important opportunity for residents impacted by the May 11th Memorial Drive shooting to connect, process, voice thoughts and concerns, and begin to heal. Members of the Cambridge Police Department will be on hand to provide an overview of the event, explain the emergency response, and outline what to expect from the investigation and court process. Representatives from the Mayor's Office, Cambridge Public Health and the Riverside Trauma Center will also be available to share information on how community members can seek any support services.

This is your opportunity to weigh in on potential updates, including zoning changes, urban design concepts, and open space improvements.

Operations personnel respond to calls for service of an emergency and non-emergency nature as well as perform proactive assignments adressing quality of life issues.

Through the study, the City will work with the community and a stakeholder group to identify how to provide safe and comfortable north/south travel connections for people of all ages and abilities, regardless of their mode of transportation, between Binney Street and Cambridge Street.

Calling all plant lovers! Add some green into your home! Bring your own plants to share propagules with others or come to pot a new plant baby for your home collection. We'll have a small collection of house plant propagules, along with soil and plastic planting containers. Attendees are welcome to bring their own pots as well.
