The City of Cambridge announced today the appointment of 23 members to a new City Manager’s Construction Advisory Group. The research highlights the need for community-based suicide prevention efforts, particularly post-release. Dr. Barrett’s work with CPD and the Cambridge Health Alliance focuses on supporting individuals with mental health conditions through case management, follow-up care, and a co-response model that pairs clinicians with officers for mental health-related 911 calls.

Roadway Preservation Work in West Cambridge Wednesday, September 20
The City’s Contractor, Indus, will conduct roadway preservation work on Wednesday, September 20. A truck will be spraying the roadway with a plant-based solution called Fog Seal. The solution goes down as a white, almost opaque spray, but once dry, it leaves a transparent “seal” over the pavement.
